Hope Restored for 16 year old Margaret of Chadiza

Children with disabilities in Zambia, especially in the rural areas have practically no access to schools and social services and in some cases parents would rather focus their limited resources on abled children.they are very few facilities such as school, hospitals and recreation facilities in Zambia which offer services specifically designed for children with special needs.in Response to this challenge, SOS CV Zambia partnered with Disability Rights watch, Archie Hinchliffe Disability intervention and SOS Austria and launched a European Union funded projected titled "Effective inclusion and participation for children with disabilities in quality education, health and social services in Zambia" The project which was launched in January 2018,is aimed at providing quality services for children with special needs in Chipata and Chadiza. 
One of the benefiaciaries is 16 year old Margret. she was born with with sickle cell anamia and is paralysed on one leg. Before the progrme, she was confined home, unable to go to school or out to play with other children.
 Margret's mother explained that after she was put recruited on the progrmamme, her daughter is now in school and doing very well.
